It is understood that dirt cheap Chinese imported wire rod is creating a havoc among Indian market players as more arrivals are adding up to cheaper available cargos with Indian importers who are facing severe problems in finding domestic buyers
It is learnt that a vessel containing 25000-27000 tonnes of Chinese wire rod started unloading at Mumbai Port Trust on Thursday increasing unsold stocks to about 80000-100000 tonnes levels. It is also learnt that another vessel containing about 15000-20000 tonnes of Chinese wire rod is on the way
