According to the report, the European Non-Integrated Wire Rod Processors Association (EUNIRPA) definitely requested the European Union (EU) to remove the imports of wire rods from the safeguard investigation.
The CEO of EUNIRPA expressed that the EU''s safeguard investigations on wire rods would cause the market shortage and might lead the wire rod with the high prices and low profits.
The association members believed that the wire rod was unlikely to resell in the EU due to the logistics and other factors.
