It is understood that the procurement forecast this year has been settled, the import volume of steel plate was not more than 300,000 tons. Taiwan¡¯s steel plate imports were about 240,000 tons in the first quarter of this year, because there was no large number of steel delivery and it was predicted the steel plate imports would not exceed more than 60,000 tons in the fourth quarter of this year.
Market participants pointed out the Taiwan¡¯s steel imports were about 290,000 tons this year.
