Hebei Iron & Steel, the largest steel long product maker in Northern China has announced to lift its rebar and wire rod settlement prices for mid-September. The company decided to hike the prices of rebar by RMB10/ton, and the price wire rod dropped by RMB50/ton for mid-September.
After adjustment, the prices of HPB300 wire rod with diameter of 6.5-10mm are at RMB4,750/ton; that of HRB400E rebar with diameter 12-14mm prices are at RMB4,310/ton, up by RMB10/ton; the HRB400E wire rod with diameter 8-12mm prices are at RMB4,500/ton, dropped by RMB50/ton, above prices are included VAT.
