Hydro Husnes, one of seven aluminum producers in Norway, planned to expand its aluminum production in 2020 to fit the increasing demand from automotive market.
The new technology developed in-house, Low Pressure Casting (LPC) would let Hydro be able to provide materials for forging.
The plan would start-up in 2020, and Hydro was expected to develop more advanced aluminum products.
