According to the preliminary data from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum daily average output was around 144,400 tons in October, lower than 145,800 tons in September.

Global primary aluminum production totaled some 4.13 million tons in October, increasing by 147,000 tons from the same time last year.

The IAI also announced primary aluminum daily average output in Asia increased by 9,000 tons to 203,000 tons in October.
