It is reported that Showa Denko K.K opened a new aluminum casting plant in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia to further strengthen the production system of the automotive aluminum parts, and the new facility is named SHOTIC Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

STM''s asset amounts to ￥1.6 billion, which is the first aluminum casting plant established outside Japan for the SDK Group.

It is expected to start mass production this month. A rapid response to the demand of automobile industry, it will meet market demand for high-quality aluminum products.
