Australia’s miner GWR Group said the production at its C4 Iron Ore mine in Wiluna, Western Australia, hit a record monthly production, having shipped roughly 330,000 tons of iron ore in February, the company’s fifteenth cargo from this mine.
GWR said the second stage of the C4 mine is now going well. The ore body at this mine performed as expected. The shipment in February had a preliminary shipping grade of lump ore at 63.3% Fe.
The company also said there were another 20 million tons available at the C4 mine, indicating its increased supply capacity.
