BHP Billiton's copper output rises in Q3-2019 China(Guangzhou)Int’l Non-Ferrous Metal（Copper）Exhibition

BHP Billiton, the largest miner in the world, announced its copper output reaching 410,000 tons roughly in the third quarter this year, up by 2% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, the output from Escondida copper mine was around 300,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10%; that from Pampa Norte was around 43,000 tons, a year-on-year decline of 25%; that from Olympic Dam was around 33,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 21%.
BHP Billiton forecasted that its copper production will reach 1.6-1.7 million tons roughly by the end of the year.
