According to the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) published a report showed that global copper market supply surplus 148,000 tons for the first three months of this year; that for supply surplus 199,000 tons in 2016.
In January-March of this year, global mine copper production was 4.97 million tons, up by 2.2% compared with the same period of last year. in the meantime, global refining copper production was 5.76 million tons, down by 0.1% compared with the same period of last year.
