Grede to Invest in Heat Treatment¡ªThe 16th China(Guangzhou)Int¡¯l Heat Treatment, Industrial Furnace Exhibition

Grede, Louisville, Ky., plans to invest more than $20 million and hire more than 35 new employees over the next three years at its Biscoe, N.C., facility to support its commercial vehicle business. The investment will be used for heat treatment and machining services as well as the addition of 26,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. The project will also include three new molding machines, handling systems and an environmentally friendly immersion coating system.
Grede also will increase its engineering capabilities. Services such as engineering support for planned projects and 3-D prototype printing will help meet customer needs. Grede supplies suspension, engine and driveline components for class 3-8 commercial vehicles.
