The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) launched a country-wide circumvention investigation on standard welded steel pipes and tubes completed in Oman and the UAE, which was allegedly produced from India’s hot-rolled coils to circumvent the current anti-dumping (AD) duties imposed on India’s pipes and tubes.
This investigation was launched based on the application filed by petitioners, including Nucor Tubular, Bull Moose Tube, and Wheatland Tube.
The USDOC was scheduled to announce its final ruling for this circumvention investigation within 300 days.
