According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey''s rebar exports reached around 660,000 tons in October this year, growing by 24% compared to the same month a year ago. The increase was mainly due to strong demand from the Middle East and North Africa regions. However, the export volume in October was lower than September¡¯s 759,000 tons.
Among them, the top three export destinations included Israel (around 129,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 34.5%), Yemen (around 94,300 tons, a year-on-year hike of 6 times), and Canada (around 63,000 tons, zero in October 2020).
