According to reports, Tajikistan sharply lowered its aluminum production growth target for this year from 20% to 5%.
It was understood that the adjustment was due to the decrease in prices and problems of raw materials supply since the supply of coking coal and alumina was interrupted because of multiple incidents.
Based on statistics, the country’s aluminum production totaled around 96,000 tons in 2018.
