Norsk Hydro ASA, a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company, recently released its results for the third quarter of this year and said lower upstream raw material costs had helped preserve profitability.
While the environment was not very good, for example, because aluminum and alumina prices fell, the global financial sector as a whole fell.
In the third quarter, Hydro reported a net loss of NOK 1.39 billion, which compared with a net profit in the same period last year, it''s not ideal.
However, Hilde Merete Aasheim, Hydro''s President and CEO, remained bullish on the company and said it was ramp-up capacity to reach 100% capacity utilization by 2021.
