The largest steel producer in the world, ArcelorMittal, had expected the steel demand for European was weak. This situation also happened to British Steel.
Last week, British Steel had collapsed into insolvency, and more than 5,000 jobs had been put in the risk in the UK. The UK government announced that it was processing to discuss with more than 80 bidders who could acquire the company last week.
The reason why both steel giants were strung into trouble was because of China. Chinese steel mills had disturbed market prices for years.
From the statistic, the total steel capacity output from China in the past two years was more than the total production from British Steel since 1870.
