Brazilian crude steel production reduces in Nov—The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Heat Treatment, Industrial Furnace Exhibition

According to the data from Brazil Steel Institute (Instituto Aço Brasil), Brazil produced around 2.8 million tons of crude steel this November, down by 6.1% compared to the same month a year ago.
The production of finished steel products was 2 million tons roughly, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%. Among them, the output of steel plate was around 1.2 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 2.6%; that of long products was around 770,000 tons, a year-on-year reduction of 1.8%. In addition, the production of semi-finished products was 770,000 tons roughly, decreasing by 5.8% from the same month last year.
Besides, the apparent steel consumption in November was 1.7 million tons roughly, increasing by 6.9% year on year. The consumption of steel plate was around 1 million tons and that of long products was around 610,000 tons, hiking by 11.7% and reducing by 0.8% year on year respectively.
