Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Starts Construction of 2 MTPA Aluminium Smelter in Yunnan Province-The 21st China(Guangzhou) Die-casting, Foundry & Industry Furnace Exhibition

One of the top aluminium producers in China Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering has commenced construction of its 2 million tonne per year aluminium smelting and hydropower project in Southwest China’s Yunnan province. Ground-breaking ceremony of the integrated project, located in Wenshan prefecture of Yunnan, was held in tandem with the opening of the Yunnan Green Aluminum Industrial Park.
Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Chairman Mr Zhang Bo said “Weiqiao aims to build the Green Aluminum Industrial Park into a low carbon and environmental friendly model project in China, as well as a world class high end aluminium industry base.”
