The second-largest steel producer in the world, ArcelorMittal, announced last Thursday that its new investment of R$1.3 billion in its plant in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro.
The investment is concentrated in the next three years, and it will be allocated to the expansion in the production of the steel and rolling mill, which will allow the rolling capacity to grow by 500,000 tons per year.
This investment strengthens the company''s confidence in Brazil''s economic recovery and development.
