Evraz posts net loss for 2013--The 15th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Metal &Metallurgy Exhibition

It’s reported that the Russian mining and steel producer Evraz post a net loss of US$572 million in 2013, compared to US$425 million in 2012.
The company said its sales income also dropped by 2.1% on the annual basis to US$14 billion in 2013.
Meanwhile, the sales from steel department decreased by 7% to US$12.5 billion in 2013 compared to the previous year. However, the company increased its crude steel output by 1% to 16.1 million tons.
