According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 45,000 tons of standard pipes in October, falling by 23.2% compared to the previous month while hiking by 27.7% from the same month a year earlier.
Among them, the imports from Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 12,200 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 7.4% and a year-on-year hike of 11.7%. Other main import sources included the UAE (around 8,000 tons), Turkey (around 4,500 tons), Mexico (around 3,800 tons), and Oman (around 3,700 tons).
During the period, the import value totaled roughly US$75 million, down by 6.6% month on month and soaring by 150.3% year on year.
