UK-based manufacturer InterBoltTM is scaling up its UK operations with a new
larger premises, state of the art CNC machines and new production staff.Once fully commissioned, the new digital bolt manufacturing facility will
increase InterBoltT"s production capacity tenfold.
Located in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, the 10,000 square foot (929m2) unit is five times largerthan InterBoltT"s previous facility. It has been equipped with two new CNC machines,including one of the latest generation machining centres from DN Solutions, to enablemultiple piece workflow and 24/7 operation. The company has also recently recruited twonew senior calibration engineers to join its small but expert manufacturing team.
Jack Hughleigh, CTO at InterBoltTM, explains: "The success of InterBoltT4 since its launch in2024 has been staggering, particularly in the global wind, rail and mining industries. We arenow the market leading wireless bolt load monitoring technology with the highest number ofdeployed devices. Our new manufacturing facility enables us to maintain our rapid growth,as well as offering dedicated areas for customer training and demonstrations. We are reallyproud of what we have built at InterBoltTt and we can''t wait to welcome customers anddistributors to the new facility.''
The InterBoltTM system provides real time bolt load measurements via a highly accurateminiature bolt load sensor embedded directly into the bolt or stud. The technology provideson-site bolt load measurements to ensure bolts are tightened accurately, as well as remotebolt load monitoring that eliminates the need for manual periodic inspection. The technologyis widely used across the European and North American wind, rail and mining industries.
