Australia’s miner GWR Group has fully resumed production at its C4 iron ore mine in Western Australia in early January. The mine, with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons, was suspended last September due to falling iron ore prices.
The drilling and blast operations provided by India’s MCS Solutions have been fully commissioned. In the first stage, 111,000 tons of high-grade iron ore at a grade of 62% were mined from the 530 Bench. The crushing and screening plant and mining fleet were also fully operational.
