South Korean bolt & nut exports up, imports down in Jan-Nov -The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistics from the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), in the first 11 months this year, the exports of bolt and nut in South Korea totaled around 199,000 tons, up by 5.9% compared to the same period a year ago. The imports amounted to 136,000 tons in the same period, a year-on-year reduction of 9.4%.
The market participants said that the manufacturers turned to export as the demand in South Korea slowed down, and the decrease in imports will impact importers significantly.
