Taiwan¡¯s nuts exports and prices all rise for Aug-The 19th China (Guangzhou)Int¡¯l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

Steel nuts are the main export items for Taiwan and China, the export quantity accounted for 18.7% for Taiwan and 13% for China.
Taiwan¡¯s nuts export the quantity totaled 196,277 tons for Jan-Aug. this year, rose by 4.25% y-o-y; the amount US$577 million, rose by 9.88% compared with the same period of last year; the average price US$2.945/kg, rose by 5.4% compared with the same period of last year.
Chinese nuts exports totaled 349,019 tons for January-August this year, rose by 6.66% compared with the same period of last year; the exports amount to US$590 million, rose by 6.34% compared with the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, Taiwan¡¯s nuts export quantity was less than Chinese, but the average price was higher than Chinese US$1.2/kg.
