Anglo American to cut nickel production for 2017-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int¡¯l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the report from Anglo American plc, a multinational mining company, the production of Brazil¡¯s nickel iron was equivalent to 9,900 tons of metal in the first quarter due to the maintenance of Barro Alto¡¯s electric furnace.
The production fell by 9% compared with previous month and dropped by 12% compared with the same period of last year.
Therefore, Anglo American would revise the annual nickel production target from 4.5 tons down to 4.3-4.5 tons.
