Supported by strong demand, the Turkish welded pipe market had improved in the past week.
In addition, the country''s hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices continued to rise. It was understood that the strong price of HRC supports the upward trend of the pipe market, and the domestic and export demand were both better than that of two weeks ago.
Some of the market participants believed that some supply problems in Ukraine had also affected the overall situation of raw material procurement and the pipe market.
Domestic prices on the welded pipe in Turkey would be in line with hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices.
