Russian Abinsk ESW passes rebar certification, opens Norwegian & Swedish market- The 21st China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

Abinsk Electric Steel Works (Abinsk ESW), one of the leading producers and exporters of billet and long products in Russia, announced that the company has recently obtained the necessary product certification, which was issued on October 28th, 2019, effective until October 28th, 2024, in order to be able to sell rebar to the Swedish and Norwegian markets.
Abinsk ESW’s Balakovo steel mill, which was acquired in mid-August this year, began supplying rebar recently. Abinsk ESW was currently producing rebar at higher capacity utilization rates.
To supply rebar to the Swedish and Norwegian markets successfully would help Abinsk ESW to consolidate its export position.
