According to the official notice issued by the Moroccan authorities indicated that the Moroccan cold-rolled steel, galvanized and color coated sheets were required to apply for the tax exemption quota for 2018 before the end of November.
These imports were mainly from Europe and Turkey, with import tax rate was 18% this year and the import tax rate was 16% for 2018. However, the Moroccan authorities would allocate 36,000 tons of the tax exemption quotas for 2018, as European products were more than 32,000 tons.
