According to the International Copper Study Group (ICSG), the global copper production is expected to reach 27.6 million tons in 2018. The figure is about 27% or 5.8 million tons higher compared from that in 2014. Besides, the average annual growth rate is about 6% during 2014 and 2018. ICSG also said that most of new copper projects have been delayed.
