Enjoy reputation as “barometer” of the metal and metallurgy industry in the world, The 8th China (Guangzhou) International Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition, jointly held by the Guangdong Metal Institute and Julang Exhibition Company and undertook by Julang Exhibition Company, was held successfully from June 21st 2007 to June 24th at the largest exhibition hall---the Guangzhou International Exhibition and Convention Center.

In order to promote and coordinate with the 2007-2008 Action Plan of Intellectual Property Protection in Exhibition and implement the Measures on the Intellectual Property Protection in Exhibition, which is jointly initiated by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the Intellectual Property Office of the PRC, the General Administration of Customs and the National Copyright Administration of the PRC, The Exhibition has made great effort to popularize self-restriction of exhibitors, promote the idea of doing business honestly and lawfully and protecting intellectual property consciously, regularize the market order in the exhibition, strengthen supervision and maintain the healthy development of the exhibition industry. 　　With the goal that advancing the technology exchange and presentation, The 8th China (Guangzhou) International Metal & Metallurgy Exhibition is composed of 5 theme exhibitions: 1.sheets,tube,pipe,bar,wire and metal processing setting equipment,2.stainless steel; 3.Fastener,spring and the equipments ;4.casting,foundry,die-casting,heat-treatment,industrial furnace; 5.sheet-metal forging, stamping and the equipment; The products in the trade show range from metal to processed metal products and metal processing equipments. As a result, the exhibition created a great chain effect within the metal related industry.
　　During the exhibition, there were 60308 visitors joined us, among which, 98% were professionals, 40% high-ranking persons in enterprises such as CEOs and general managers, 43% purchasers, 15% technical engineering staff and 2% some other persons. Among them there are about 20 visitor groups from Turkey, Italy, Korea, Germany, Pakistan, India, USA, Spain, Venezuela, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Iran, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, etc. This statistics indicate that our exhibition enjoys high specialization and great influence within the industry. On the exhibition, more than 100 of our exhibitors forwardly made contracts with us for the exhibition next year. In 2008, we plan to organize 5 exhibition halls with 55000 sqms exhibition area.
