The E90 Class J fuse holder family, designed specifically for the North American industrial market, ensures safety during maintenance operations with the capability to be sealed in the closed position and be padlocked in the open position. The E90 Class J fuse holders are designed for industrial installations, motor and transformer protection, heating systems, and control circuits.
The E90 Class J fuse holders also offer ease of use with a touch-safe, 90-degree, flip-hinged, ergonomic handle, which facilitates fuse replacement, even in small spaces or when wearing protective gloves. No tools are required for installation or replacement of fuses. E90 Class J fuse holders also easily snap onto standard DIN rail. A version with an optical blown fuse indicator, which reduces maintenance time, is available. Their compact size also enables E90 Class J fuse holders to be open while the enclosure door is closed, which ensures safer maintenance.
Vents and cooling chambers used in the E90 Class J fuse holder reduce power dissipation, which help to minimize module heating and enhance reliability. In addition to primary circuits, E90 Class J fuse holders protect and isolate secondary circuits, primary and secondary transformers, and motor-resistive and inductive loads.
