EJ (Elmira, Michigan) broke ground on its new $125 million facility.
The plant is expected to be completed by the fall of 2018 and will take the place of a facility in East Jordan, Michigan. The move will preserve an estimated 340 jobs in its region.
¡°The official start of construction of the new foundry is an exciting time for our company,¡± said EJ president Tracy Malpass in a news release. ¡°This project is an important milestone in the life of our family business, our community and our employees. A project like this requires the support of many individuals and groups.¡±
