According to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, the country produced a total of 360 million tons of raw coal in April this year, falling by 4% compared to the previous month while growing by 10.7% from the same period a year ago.
In the first four months of this year, China’s raw coal production totaled roughly 1.5 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%.
During the period, China’s coal imports amounted to around 75.4 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.2%.
