Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced its operational results for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2014. Accordingly, Severstal''s crude steel production in the fourth quarter increased by one percent to 2.892 million mt, while its hot metal production went up by two percent to 2.32 million mt, both quarter on quarter.
In 2014, Severstal registered a six percent year-on-year growth in crude steel production to 11.302 million mt, while the company''s hot metal production increased by four percent to 9.076 million mt compared to 2013.
