According to Japan’s Ministry of Land Infrastructure & Transport (MLIT), it is expected that Japan’s steel demand in construction industry will decline slightly in November on yearly basis.
Demand for construction steel is expected to be around 1.95 million tons in November, dropping by 1.9% compared to the same month of last year and staying steady from the previous month.
Demand for section steel is expected to drop by 10.3% to 390,000 tons year on year while demand for small bar will be around 800,000 tons.
