According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 189,000 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in November 2021, rising by 26.8% compared to the previous month while soaring by 469.5% from the same month a year earlier.
Among them, the imports from Mexico occupied the largest share, totaling around 45,100 tons, a month-on-month increase of 48.7% and a year-on-year surge of 756.2%. Other main import sources included South Korea (around 31,500 tons), Ukraine (around 22,500 tons), Russia (around 19,700 tons), and Argentina (around 19,000 tons).
During the period, the import value amounted to approximately US$252 million tons, up by 22.3% month on month while soaring by 560.1% year on year.
