"Calvert Street Capital Partners (“Calvert Street”) today announced that industry expert Don Longenette has joined John Hubbard and Mike Sobieski to help support the creation of a leading thermal processing company focused on value-added services. Central to this strategy is identifying and bringing together leading businesses that share a focus on world-class safety, quality, service, and advanced technology. Don Longenette has spent over 30 years in the thermal processing industry, including the past 12 years at Bodycote where he served as the Engineering Manager for North America and Asia. In this capacity, Don oversaw its global maintenance programs and led efforts to recruit and train operators on new equipment to improve safety, quality, and productivity. He was also responsible for the opening of numerous greenfield operations. Before Bodycote, Don served in several different roles at Timken. Mike Sobieski stated, “Don is considered the expert in all things regarding thermal processing equipment. Over his career, he has worked internationally and served as a leader for many years in a wide range of capacities, ranging from starting up new operations to directing maintenance practices for numerous facilities. Don is the best person I know to oversee our equipment and maintenance, which will play critical roles in helping us deliver superior technical capabilities.”
