According to statistics, France imported 2.07 million tons of iron ore in May.
In the given period of time, Canada was the largest exporter of iron ore to France with 870,000 tons, with average price of US$105.3/ton; Brazil was the second largest one with 742,000 tons, with average price of US$99.8/ton.
Besides, India’s Tata Steel said it will revive European demand and infrastructure investment by the Indian government to boost sales in coming quarters.
