According to statistics from Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), Vietnam''s production of finished steel was 2.96 million in April, decreasing by 11.28% compared to the previous month and also sliding by 1.1% from the same month a year ago. The sales totaled approximately 2.4 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 22.5% and a year-on-year fall of 15.6%
Vietnam''s finished steel output in the first four months of 2022 was up to roughly 11.4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%, and the sales grew by 4.1% year on year to 10.55 million tons. The exports totaled 2.45 million tons, up by 9.4% over the same period of last year.
