The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has determined that certain Mexican carbon and alloy wire rod manufacturers sold their products at the prices lower than fair value during the period of review.
The initial weighted average dumping margin for Deacero was set at 17.65%, higher than the current 12.56%; that for Ternium was set at 40.52%, which was also higher than the current 17.94%.
In addition, ArcelorMittal Mexico and ArcelorMittal las Truchas has initially confirmed that they didn’t ship the products involved during the period of review from October 1st, 2016 to September 30th, 2017.
The USDOC also said that the cash deposit rate of all other manufacturers and exporters in Mexico will remain at 20.11%.
