Xilin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd., the largest steel company in Chinese northeast Heilongjiang province, had a debt of nearly RMB 24 billion. Although the losses have decreased in recent years, it still couldn''t sustain.
It was reported that Xilin Iron & Steel Group had filed for bankruptcy and reorganization with the court, and Yichun Intermediate People¡¯s Court had already accepted this case on October 11th.
According to the regulations, the liquidation team of Xilin Iron & Steel Group was appointed as the administrator of Xilin Iron & Steel Group and Zhang Guojun, vice mayor of Yichun municipal government, as the person in charge.
