Taiwanese Yieh Hsing keeps carbon steel wire rod prices for Oct- The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., one of the wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, announced to keep its prices of carbon steel wire rod for October on September 28th. The wire rod price of al-killed steel and killed steel were both kept unchanged.
According to the price adjustment, the wire rod price for al-killed steel settled at NT$27,000/ton; that for blast furnace killed steel settled at NT$26,300/ton; that for electric furnace killed steel settled at NT$26,100/ton.
Market participants said that although the market prices of Chinese wire rod has risen recently, most of the ex-factory prices from Chinese mills were flat, China Steel Corporation (CSC) didn’t announce new prices this month, and Quintain Steel has already announced to remain its prices. Therefore, Yieh Hsing’s unchanged prices were the same as market participants’ expectations.
