It is reported that the US wire import market remained steady in past one week, due to the uncertainty of the results of the section 232. In addition, other steel industry, including steel plate producers and traders were waiting for the results of the investigation, and began to enter the import market, the United States wire market imports still remained weak.
It is understood that the import price is expected to remain soft unless the market direction has improved further in domestic steel market.
