Ningbo Sijin Machinery Co., Ltd developed a new product in recent and that’s multistage cold former 305L. It weighted 200 tons and covered an area of 160 square meters, used in the production of high strength fasteners and non-standard fasteners with the diameter available up to 36 millimeters. According to the introduction of Ningbo Sijin’s staff, two operators could realize the production of 50 tons bolts daily with this multistage former 305L, which cost 50 operators under the tradition technique. Besides, it could save 75% energy and reduce 90% carbon dioxide emission while compared with traditional technique. “There are less than 10 units of its kind in domestic, and all of them are imported from Europe, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and so on,” introduced by Mr. Xie Wuyi, general manager of Ningbo Sijin Machinery Co., Ltd. China is the largest manufacturer and exporter of fasteners in the world, but its high strength and high precision fasteners applied in the fields of automobile, railway, and aerospace rely on import, which reflects the deficiency of domestic equipment manufacturing industry. Today, the born of multistage cold former 305L is of great significance and it could compete with oversea cold former.
