Iran Natanz Steel Mill exports doubled in 9 months-The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

Farsnews reported that volume of steel products exported from Natanz Steel Mill in the first 3 quarters of the current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018) has surged by 100%, compared with the corresponding period last year. Mr Javad Tavakkoli Torqi said that “Despite the reinstatement of US’ unilateral sanctions against Iran, the Natanz Steel Company experienced a 100% increase in exporting steel products to foreign countries during the first 9 months of the current Iranian year along with meeting the needs of domestic market.”
He added that “Some of Natanz Steel products have exported to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and the Persian Gulf states.”
Last week, the World Steel Association announced that Iran considerably increased the production of its crude steel in the first 11 months of 2018, registering more than 17 percent growth as compared with last year''s corresponding period.
The report added that "Iran produced 22.59 million tonnes of crude steel in the first 11 months of 2018, indicating a growth of 17.3 percent compared with the figure for the same period in 2017, which was 19.256 million tonnes.”
