Taiwan¡¯s nut export amount and price rise in first 3 quarters-The 19th China (Guangzhou)Int¡¯l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistics, Taiwan¡¯s nut export amount totaled 223,357 tons in the first three quarters of this year, increasing by 6.16% year on year; the export value was US$661 million, up by 12.4% compared with the same period of last year; the average export price was US$2.961/kg, rising by 5.88% from the same period a year ago.
Taiwan''s nut export amount declined in 2015 and 2016. The nut export amount in 2015 were 285,577 tons, decreasing by 2.93% from the same period of the previous year; those in 2016 were 279,567 tons, down by 2.11% from the same period of 2015. However, Taiwan''s nut export amount and price both rose back in the first three quarters of this year.
