Taiwan's screw exports to China rise by 10% yearly-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int¡¯l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

It is reported screws from Taiwan exported to China of 1,913 tons this January, rising by 10.56% on the yearly basis but reducing by 24.59% on the monthly basis; the amount of export was US$10.35 million, rising by 9.54% on the yearly basis but reducing by 24.65% on the monthly basis. The average price of export was US$5.411/kg, down by 0.92% compared to last year and reducing by 0.08% on a monthly basis.
The totaled amount of export screws from Taiwan to China was lower than USA but the quantity was higher than USA. The reason was that most of Taiwan''s screw exports to China was standard fasteners with the lower price.
However, the amount and quantity for Taiwan exporting screws to China were all raised but the price did not due to the devaluation of RMB was higher than TWD.
