US’ rebar imports drop in Mar m-o-m- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to the final Census Bureau data lately released by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported a total of around 92,000 tons of rebar in March of this year, dropping by 5.4% compared to the previous month. The import value was around US$48 million, down from US$52 million of last month.
Among them, the imports from Spain ranked first with the amount of around 56,000 tons. The other main sources included Bulgaria, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Turkey, with the imports of 16,000 tons, 10,600 tons, 5,600 tons and 2,200 tons respectively.
