EU to implement new quotas on certain imported steel products- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

It was heard from market that the European Commission (EC) will implement the import quotas for 150 days on certain imported steel products from February 2nd, 2019, but the policy hasn’t been announced officially yet.
The import quota will come into effect during the period from July 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2020, and the quota volume will increase by 5% from July 1st, 2020 to June 30th, 2021.
The quotas will be different based on the country or region for each product, and they won’t be implemented on all countries in the world.
